Homecoming 2019 Celebration

DYER HUDSON HALL – MARION COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2019

10:00 AM: Dyer Hudson will be open all day for classes to gather
and reminisce!

11:30 AM: Everyone is invited to the Knoxville Alumni Association
Annual Lunch and Business Meeting. Lunch is FREE to Alumni members or $8.00 for
non-members. Membership dues may be paid at
the door; $25.00 per year or $250.00 for a lifetime membership.

ATTENTION CLASSES: The class with the most classmates attending
the meeting/lunch will have a scholarship presented in their class’ name to a graduating
KHS Senior in 2020! To reserve a table for the day, please contact Jody Rawlings,
Alumni Board President, KHS Class of 1984 at (641) 891-0645 or email: rawlij65@gmail.com.

2:30 PM: Parade Line-up at Main Street between and Fremont and
Iowa Street. The parade begins at 3:00 PM. If you would like to ride on the Alumni
Float or reserve a spot in the parade for your own class float, please contact Pat
Thomas Kading, KHS Class of 1964, (641-842-5749/641-891-4230, kadingsl@mchsi.com).

4:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Dinner Break! There are numerous tailgating events
in the community and we encourage you to support them and our local restaurants.
Dyer Hudson will also be open to gather.

6:30 PM: Class Reunion Line-up at the Stadium. Classes having reunions
are asked to meet at the southwest corner of the stadium. Please notify Pennie
Edwards Sommar, KHS Class of 1966 (641-891-4779 or pennies@issbank.com) if you plan
to participate in the class reunion introductions. Class introductions will be
around 7:00 PM. Special seating will be provided after class introductions. Tickets
for the game may be purchased at the towers for $5.00 at game time or for tickets
in advance, contact Pennie. She will be at the parade line-up carrying the black
and gold class signs!

7:00 PM: Support the Knoxville Panthers as they host South Tama County at
our historic Ken Locke Stadium!

7:00 PM: Evening Homecoming activities begin at the Dyer Hudson.
Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Memberships may be purchased there also. Your membership
helps support KHS scholarships! PUBLIC IS WELCOME! Adult beverages, pop, water and
food will be available for purchase. KID FRIENDLY EVENT!

7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – DJ

9:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. – Local KHS ALUMNI Members band – Methods!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2019

2:00 p.m.: 1st annual bags tournament, Registration from 2 to 2:30.
Cost is $20.00 per team or $25.00 on day of. Will be held at the Octoberfest event on
the square in the A&P Pub beer garden. MUST BE 21 to enter.
